This year, celebrating its 14th anniversary, Cleantex Africa has once again proven to be the premier African event for cleaning, hygiene, and facility services professionals. The international exhibition and co-located Cleantex Executive Summit attracted a total of 3,859 visitors and delegates from eight South African provinces as well as other countries, marking an increase of over 10 percent from the previous event held just following the COVID pandemic.

This year’s exhibition, which hosted a record number of 120 unique brands, offered a long overdue opportunity for visitors and exhibitors to reconnect with like-minded individuals and suppliers from across the cleaning, hygiene, and facility services value chain.

Visitors and delegates included representation from 12 African countries. Regular and new South African and international exhibitors from China, India, Jordan, and Spain, bolstered numerous opportunities for distributor agreements, networking, education and new product discovery, business development, and collaboration between exhibiting companies.

From 16 to 18 October ‘24 visitors were treated to an African cleaning technology experience, where they forged local and fellow African connections, whilst experiencing the latest trends and innovations.

The co-located Cleantex Executive Summit offered delegates a day filled with professional development sessions that included presentations on social media and branding, international cleaning trends, workforce upskilling and re-skilling, wellbeing through cleanliness and how to align your personal purpose with the organisational purpose.

We were very happy with the fantastic visitor response to this year’s Cleantex Africa exhibition, in line with our main purpose of enabling the cleaning and hygiene industry to grow and thrive. By creating the right environment and atmosphere to conduct business, we are transforming the event as an African platform for innovative products and services relevant to the facility management, hygiene, and employee wellness sectors in Africa. During the three days we experienced a good mix of senior-level visitors coming through the doors, engaging in fruitful conversations regarding industry trends, new products and developments and exploring innovative business opportunities,” said Exhibition Director, Johann van Vuuren.
